Bike Map
This latest edition of the Humboldt Bay Area Bike Map is our area's guide to cycling routes and related safety information in a colorful, fun and easy to read format. The Bike Map serves as an important resource to Humboldt County residents and also as a trip guide for visitors to highlight:
- The region from McKinleyville and Arcata, to Eureka and Manila, Fortuna, and HSU and CR campuses.
- Inset maps also cover the Pacific Coast Bike Route throughout Humboldt County.
- Bike routes marked to clearly indicate bicycle paths, bicycle lanes, level of difficulty, and appropriateness for family bicycling.
- Services and points of interest (such as bus stops, bike shops, coastal access, wildlife viewing, public lands, etc.), bike safety tips and rules of the road, event and resource information, and contact information for visitors.
This is a great resource for local cyclists and tourists alike!
Now, RCAA and HCAOG (Humboldt County Association of Governments) are distributing the maps for free to get as many maps as we can to people who want one. Individuals can find maps throughout the county at local bicycle shops, bookstores, recreation centers, chambers of commerce, visitors centers and on public transportation.
